The Research Activity Promotion Fund awarded one-time research bonuses for active research performance in 2025.
The awards were granted in three categories:

Most Active Senior Researcher of the Year;

Most Active Young Researcher of the Year;
-
Most Active Doctoral Student of the Year.
A total of 23 applications were received. The evaluation was carried out according to the following criteria: the significance of published research articles; contribution to the last three annual institutional research assessments; participation in project-based activities; the applicant’s involvement in initiating or implementing an international R&D project; the international scope of research; and activity in organizing scientific events. The awards were granted to the researchers and doctoral student who received the highest number of points.
The award for Most Active Senior Researcher of the Year was granted to Prof. Dr. Mindaugas Briedis of the Institute of Humanities, Faculty of Human and Social Studies.
The award for Most Active Young Researcher of the Year was granted to Chief Researcher Dr. Miguel Angelo Raposo Inacio of the Institute of Public Administration, Faculty of Public Governance and Business.
The award for Most Active Doctoral Student of the Year was granted to doctoral student Rasa Rudaitienė of the Institute of Management and Political Sciences, Faculty of Public Governance and Business.
