Online Seminar on Erasmus+ KA220 Proposal Writing for ERUA Researchers
ERUA

5 February 2026, 16:00–20:30 (EET, Lithuanian time) an online seminar on writing high-quality Erasmus+ KA220 (Cooperation Partnerships) project applications will take place, organised by the University of the Aegean in cooperation with the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA).

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the University of the Aegean and the ERUA alliance to strengthening the capacities of researchers and staff to actively engage in European cooperation projects and to enhance the quality and competitiveness of Erasmus+ proposals.

The seminar is open to ERUA researchers at all career stages, academic staff, project administrators, research support officers, and professionals interested in developing or participating in Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnerships. Participants will gain a solid understanding of the theoretical framework, evaluation criteria, and practical requirements of KA220 applications. The training combines structured input with hands-on exercises based on realistic application scenarios.

The seminar will be delivered by Tasos Barmpas, an experienced educational consultant and trainer specialising in EU-funded programmes, with a strong focus on Erasmus+. He has previously worked at the Hellenic Erasmus+ National Agency as a Project Officer and later as Coordinator for Key Action 2 (School Education), where he was responsible for monitoring funded projects, coordinating application evaluation processes, promoting Erasmus+ in education and training, and advising prospective organisations. He has also served as Director of Preschool and Primary Education at the American Farm School and as a Senior Educational Consultant at Pierce – The American College of Greece. Currently, he delivers specialised training on Erasmus+ proposal writing, supporting organisations in developing coherent, high-quality applications aligned with European evaluation criteria and best practices.

During the seminar, participants will explore the theoretical framework of Erasmus+ Key Action 2, with a particular focus on KA220 (Cooperation Partnerships) applications. The assessment (award) criteria will be analysed in detail, providing clear guidance on how they are reflected in application questions. Through practical exercises based on hypothetical project scenarios, participants will learn how to translate evaluation requirements into coherent, well-structured, and relevant proposal content.
