Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Macerata

The University of Macerata (Italy) has launched a Call for Expressions of Interest for researchers aiming to apply for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF, Horizon Europe) 2026 call.

The initiative is designed to select up to 20 outstanding research ideas and provide the selected researchers with a comprehensive training, mentoring, and funding support package to develop competitive MSCA PF proposals, with the University of Macerata as host or return host institution.

What does the University of Macerata offer?

Selected candidates will benefit from:

  • A high-level MSCA proposal writing Masterclass (online and in-person);
  • Direct interaction with experienced scientific supervisors at the University of Macerata;
  • Continuous mentoring and coaching until proposal submission;
  • Up to €1,200 for travel and accommodation costs (for researchers residing outside Italy) to attend the in-person Masterclass, which will take place in June 2026 in Macerata.

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants are researchers who:

  • hold a PhD or will obtain it by 9 September 2026;
  • have a maximum of 8 years of research experience;
  • comply with the MSCA mobility rule (see the official Announcement for details).
