The 4th International Symposium on Communication, Digitalization and Society hosted by Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Communication together with Zagreb School of Business and Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) will be held on April 28-30 2026. This year’s theme is “From Democracy to Infocracy: Truth in the Optimized Society”.

The theme of this year’s symposium raises important questions about how the dominance of information and algorithmic systems is reshaping the concept of truth, democratic values, and the public sphere. Participants are invited to engage in discussions on algorithmic influence, disinformation, transformations of digital society, and the ethical challenges arising in the contemporary communication environment.

Call for Registration and Abstract Submission

Participants are invited to register and submit abstracts.

The deadline for abstract submission is February 16. Publication of accepted abstracts – March 15. The registration deadline is April 1.
