International Conference “Women in Science (WinS)”: Call for Abstracts

The international conference “Women in Science (WinS)” will take place on 11–12 February 2026 at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). The event is organized by the University in collaboration with the Association of Spanish Scientists in the Baltic Countries (ACEBaltic), the Embassy of Spain in Lithuania, and Fundación Ramón Areces.

Dedicated to marking the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, educators, and other stakeholders for a shared dialogue on the role of women in science and the development of equitable and inclusive research environments.

The 2026 conference expands into a two-day transdisciplinary scientific program open to scholars from all fields who aim to address global challenges and issues related to gender inequality.

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts are accepted until 31 December 2025.

Publication Opportunities

All the selected abstracts will be included in the WinS Book of Abstracts. Selected papers will be considered for publishing in the journal Social Inquiry into Well-Being, raising the visibility and academic reach of participants.
