The Doctoral Candidates’ Association of Mykolas Romeris University invites you to participate in the 13th International Scientific Conference for Young Researchers “Social Transformations in Contemporary Society” (STICS 2025).
The conference aims to bring together young researchers to explore and discuss the dynamics of social transformations in contemporary society, share scientific insights, and foster international academic cooperation.
Important Dates
- By 29 September 2025 – Registration and submission of abstracts or full papers (up to 8 pages) by email to stics@mruni.eu. Please indicate “STICS 2025” in the subject line.
- Within one week after submission – Notification of acceptance.
- 16–17 October 2025 – Conference event (the conference will be held in English).
Accepted research papers will be published in the conference proceedings (ISSN 2345-0126, online), which are indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and ROAD databases.
Eligible Participants
- Master’s and PhD students;
- Researchers holding a master’s degree;
- PhDs who defended their dissertations no earlier than three years ago.
Fees
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Travel and accommodation expenses are not covered.
