This week, Vilnius is hosting the world’s largest anti-corruption event – the 16th edition of the Transparency International Transparency School, bringing together more than 120 young leaders, experts, and academics from over 40 countries. Since the very first school in 2010, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) has been the academic partner of this initiative.
This year, special focus is placed on behavioral sciences, strategic communication, and participatory democracy in the field of anti-corruption. Participants are analyzing real-world cases, deepening their knowledge on political transparency, grand corruption, anti-money laundering, and innovations in public governance.
The Transparency School is organized by Transparency International Lithuania in cooperation with MRU. The event is taking place from June 30 to July 4 at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius.
Participants are learning from experts from more than 10 countries, while the OGP-Transparency Fellowship program for public sector professionals is taking place in parallel.
