May 9-10th, 2017, the 4th international scientific conference, Modern Economics, was held at Mykolas Romeris University. The conference is held in conjunction with Poland's University of Szczecin.
Academics, representatives from about 30 different institutions of higher education and research from Germany, Poland, Portugal, Latvia, Turkey, Spain, China as well as Lithuania are participating. Researchers will present their insights, research regarding social-economic development, economic and social effectiveness and public policy as well as EU Central and Eastern European economic processes.
Well known researchers and professors are expected including Prof. Jorge Eduardo Vila Biglieri, (Spain's University of Vigo); Prof. GraĹĽyna Krzyminiewska, (Poland's Poznan University); Prof. Krzysztof SurĂłwka, (Poland's Cracow Economics University); Prof. dr. Norbert GrĂĽnwald (Germany's Wismar University); and others.
