Sept. 27th, 2016, a Muay Thai combat sports seminar was held in the rennovated MRU Sports Hall in the II wing of the campus. Lithuania's Honorary Consul in Thailand Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam greeted those gathered at the event. Members of Lithuania's Muaythai Association along with members from the Thai Foreign Affairs Ministry participated. Didlaukio academic community members participated in the seminar. The workout was led by 8 Thai Masters. There were presentations about the combat techniques, rituals and traditions of this sport, which has deep roots in Thiland.
