From October 5 to 8, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) welcomed Prof. Dr. Joseph Wilferth from Dalton State College (USA). During his visit, opportunities for cooperation between the two higher education institutions were discussed, and meetings were held with the university's leadership, representatives of the academic community, and students.
The professor met with MRU Rector Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė. During the meeting, the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MRU and Dalton State College was presented. The agreement aims to strengthen academic ties between the institutions and foster joint activities.
The guest also met with MRU Vice-Rector for Studies Prof. Dr. Natalija Kaminskienė, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Dr. Eglė Malinauskienė, and representatives of the International Office and faculties. During these meetings, both institutions presented their activities and discussed prospects for further cooperation.
The visit also included academic activities. Together with Prof. Dr. Ray Smith, Prof. Dr. Wilferth delivered lectures to MBA students on communication in projects and gave a lecture to bachelor's degree students.
The visit marked another step towards strengthening MRU's international partnerships, promoting the exchange of academic knowledge and experience, and creating new opportunities for cooperation in education and research.
