On 28–29 September, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) welcomed Prof. Dr. Arnaud Laimé, President of Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis (Paris 8 University, UP8), a partner institution and member of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA), and Prof. Arnaud Regnauld, Vice-President for International Relations.

During their visit, the UP8 representatives met with the MRU Rector, faculty deans and representatives of other university units. The meetings provided an opportunity to present both universities, share good practices, and discuss ongoing cooperation as well as opportunities for further partnership.

MRU and UP8 already cooperate in the field of psychology. During the visit, the universities also discussed opportunities to expand academic and institutional cooperation in law, management and other fields, as well as to develop student and academic staff mobility and explore new joint activities.

The UP8 representatives also took part in the ERUA Management Committee meeting held at MRU. Together with representatives of other alliance universities, they discussed current ERUA activities and further opportunities for cooperation within the alliance.
