Psychology Students Met for “Friendship Meeting” Sept. 8th

Sept. 8th, 2016, MRU Psychology students met for an informal Students' Friendship meeting overseen by Psychology Institute Lecturer Dr. Natalija Norvilė and Dr. Arvydas Kuzinas in the MRU Park.
Psychology Institute Assoc. Prof. Dr. Antanas Valantinas also participated.

He said that the Meeting was held to allow freshmen to meet 3rd and 4th year students and exchange experiences. It was also an opportunity for students to meet with their Lecturers in an informal setting.

Assoc. Prof. Valantinas said that students were complaining that they were feeling "isolated" and this was a chance for them to get to know each other.

"It's sometimes necessary to take the first step," he said.

There are about 40 international Psychology students studying in the Bachelor's Degree programme.
