April 30th, Poland's Szczecin University Assoc. Prof. Yurij Bilan, PhD, led a seminar, "Good Practice in Scholarly Publishing."

Assoc. Prof. Bilan will discuss Publication Ethics, the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, the Benefits of Open Access for Research Dissemination, Steps in the Peer Review Process.

Yurij Bilan is an Assoc. Prof. in the Dept. of Microeconomics at Szczecin University. He is the President of the Centre of Sociological Research (Ukraine) and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Scientific Papers, "Economics and Sociology." He is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of scientific papers, "Journal of International Studies".

In 2006 and 2008-2009, he was a long-term Marie Curie Fellow (6 FP Program of EU).
