(The EU-funded network LangOER (“Enhance teaching and learning of less used languages through Open Educational Resources) hosts a 1 hour webinar on Friday March 14. The topic of the online discussion is “sustainability of OER for less used languages”. This free event will take place at 11h CET (check this link for time at your location). More information ca n be found here..
The following questions will be addressed:
What are the opportunities for national less used language OER projects and how can they be sustained? What is the future for national, unilingual OER projects?
Participants will a) learn about successful open educational initiatives in less-used and minority languages b) be invited to share knowledge and experience of OER available in their own language other than English, which might then be taken into account for a “State-of-the-art” report on OER for less-used languages, and c) learn about future events to sparkle and support open educational practices in less-used and minority languages with enough room for active contributions.
You are all very welcome to join and to circulate the announcement through your networks.
