Mykolas Romeris University is looking for a highly motivated Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) interested in interdisciplinary research on the topic „Internet of Things (Law): Legal liability of IoE devices in the home“.

The LAST-JD-RIoE is an International Ph.D. programme under the Horizon 2020 EU project 814177, MSCA ITN (Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions European Joint Doctorates). 

15 PhD positions will be managed by 9 beneficiaries: University of Bologna (UNIBO), University Turin (UNITO), University Luxembourg (UL), the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), KU Leuven (KUL), Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH), Universität Wien (UNIVIEN). 

Full-time contract for 3 years starting from November 1, 2019: 2.370,75€ for living allowance + 600€ for mobility allowance + 500€ for family allowance (if applicable) per month (the total gross amount includes local tax, social security contributions).

In order to apply for the ESR positions, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements at the deadline of this call for applications: 
- be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers (the four years start to count from the date when a researcher obtained the degree which would formally entitle him/her to embark on a doctorate); 
- have not been awarded a doctoral degree; 
- have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) outside the country of the beneficiary university for more than 24 months in the 3 years immediately.
