Germany's University of Mannheim student Laura Hauck is one of almost 200 exchange and Erasmus+ students beginning studies at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) this fall.

She said the variety of courses on offer at MRU attracted her, especially the opportunity to study "Eastward Enlargement of the EU" and Lithuanian Language and Culture.

I came based on the courses she said naming, "Ethnicity and Multiculturalism" as one of the courses that she is excited to take.

"I wanted to go to the Baltic States because I've never been there before," said the 21-year-old student. Hauck is one of 21 German exchange students that will be pursuing studies at MRU this fall.

Vilnius is in "a good place in Europe," added Hauck. She said she hopes to travel to Lapland during her stay in Vilnius.

Having arrived in Vilnius a few days ago, Hauck said she loves the city already.

She is in her 3rd year of Bachelor's Degree studies at the University of Mannheim.
