Prof. Romas Prakapas discussed, "How to Prepare a Research Project." Future doctoral students and others attended the event.

    Prize-winning LT Photographer Danisevičius' Photo Exhibit on Display

    Prize-winning Lithuanian photographer Ramūnas Danisevičius, the recipient of Lithuania's 2019 Government Cultural and Art Prize, exhibited his wide collection of black-and-white photographs at MRU. The exhibition, relating to judges and Lithuania's Justice system was titled, "House of Justice". Danisevičius, 45 years old, has been displaying his photographs in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad since 2001. From 2010 he is a photographer for Lithuania's largest daily newspaper, "Lietuvos Rytas."

    Long-Time ex-International Office Head Račienė Celebrating 20 Years at MRU

    Feb. 9th, 2019, Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) former International Office Head Gedrutė Račienė, celebrated her 20th year of work at the University. Although no longer Head of the International Office, Račienė is now in charge of the International Partnerships Division at the International Office. Time has passed so quickly, Račienė said commenting on her 20th anniversary of work.

    Dec. 11th, 2018, a Lithuanian postcard collection, including some Christmas postcards, has opened in the Library of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). The exhibition of postcards is part of the collection of well-known memorabilia collectors Birutė and Darius Raila. All invited to come see the unique exhibition.

    Nida's Best Art Exhibit Featured Painters from Abroad, LT

    Dec. 6th, 2018, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius, academics, staff attended the opening of Lithuania's NIDA's Best Art Exhibit in the Rotunda Hall. Painters featured include those from: Armenia, Belarus, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Nepal, Poland, France, India, and Lithuania's Vija Tarabildienė, Jonas Daniliauskas, Arvydas Každailis, Saulius Kruopis and many others. The exhibit celebrates the 100th anniversary of Lithuania's restored statehood.
