    Studies & Work Remotely Extended to April 13th

    Taking into account, the Government of Lithuania’s March 25th, 2020 Decree No. 264, “Regarding the Government of Lithuania’s March 14th, 2020 Decree No. 207 “Regarding Announcement of Quarantine in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania Changes,” MRU Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė has signed an Order extending the studies and work process remotely at MRU until April 13th. This term may be extended, if  necessary.

    Independence Restoration Holiday Events - March 10th

    March 10th, 2020, the Mykolas Romeris University academic community celebrated Lithuania's Restoration of Independence holiday, which is celebrated on March 11th each year, with a series of events. One was making colourful windmills "to plant" on MRU's lawn later. Students, staff and academics took part in the event.

    Monday, Sept. 2nd, during events heralding the opening of new academic year at Mykolas Romeris University, international Erasmus+ students cooked up a storm showcasing food from their home countries. Lithuanian singer Jurgis Brūzga performed with such rhythms that students were dancing in the courtyard.

    Open PhD Day June 6th @ MRU LAB

    June 6th, 2019, MRU LAB (Didlaukio g. 55) hosted an Open PhD Day and discussion on the value of a doctoral degree. MRU Educational Sciences and Social Work Institute Assoc. Prof. Romas Prakapas discussed, "How to Prepare a Research Project." Future doctoral students and others attended the event.

    Prize-winning LT Photographer Danisevičius' Photo Exhibit on Display

    Prize-winning Lithuanian photographer Ramūnas Danisevičius, the recipient of Lithuania's 2019 Government Cultural and Art Prize, exhibited his wide collection of black-and-white photographs at MRU. The exhibition, relating to judges and Lithuania's Justice system was titled, "House of Justice". Danisevičius, 45 years old, has been displaying his photographs in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad since 2001. From 2010 he is a photographer for Lithuania's largest daily newspaper, "Lietuvos Rytas."
