Nov. 13-15th, 2018, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Vice-Rector for Education and Research Inga Žalėnienė attended the International Association of Universities (IAU) Conference, "Higher Education Partnerships for Societal Impact" held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Vice-Rector Žalėnienė chaired the Responsible Research and Innovation parallel Session at the Conference on Nov. 14th, which was held during the IAU 2018 International Conference.
Speakers of the session included: Prof. Charles Carrilo Villanueva (Bangladesh), Prof. Marta Losada Folk (Columbia) and Prof. Pierre Andre Pierre (Haiti),.
Vice-Rector Žalėnienė noted that "valuable insights" from session panelists led to a better understanding of challenges and opportunities considering ethical concerns in research.
