viliunas2012-06 December 3rd, the weekly news magazine "Veidas" held a roundtable discussion on higher education and MRU Vice-Rector for Education Assoc. Prof. Giedrius Viliūnas (see photo) participated.

Vice-Rector Viliūnas, in the article titled, "Everyone has to Study and Keep Learning," says that in the face of a declining number of students studying in institutions of higher education, universities must "create favourable conditions for studies so students would not want to go abroad."

In addition, conditions should be such that those students that have left Lithuania "would want to return to study here," he is quoted as saying.
