Aug. 29th, 2017, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Vice-Rector for Education & Research Dr. Inga Žalėnienė addressed a new crop of international Erasmus and exchange students that began studies at the University from more than 30 countries.

In addition, there were 150 international degree-seeking students - many coming from Ukraine.

Vice-Rector Dr. Žalėnienė told the international students that they should get involved in student activities and take advantage of all the University and Vilnius has to offer.

Many students come from Ukraine (68) followed by France (33), Spain (30), Italy (29) Germany (21), Portugal (12), Turkey (15), Czech Republic (6), Greece (2), Korea (6) and other countries.

MRU International Office Head Audra Dargytė-Burokienė welcomed students as well. She presented a video as well as a visual presentation acquainting the new students with Vilnius and tourist sites nearby like the Trakai castle town and the medieval Kernavė town.

Officially students begin studies at MRU on Friday, September 1st, 2017.
