Sept. 24th, 2018, there were tributes paid to long-time MRU School of Law Prof. Mindaugas Maksimaitis, now professor emeritus. MRU dedicated an auditorium in his name.

Prof. Maksimaitis was honoured on the occasion of his 85th jubilee birthday.

He is the author or co-author of numerous textbooks and books including: "Lithuania's Constitutional Law;" "The State and Constitutional Law;" "Mykolas Romeris - Son of Lithuania;" "Lithuania's Constitutional Law History;" and "History of Foreign Law."

Many MRU Law School scholars, professors, and academics greeted and congratulated Prof. Maksimaitis.
