From April 1st, 2019, prize-winning Lithuanian photographer Ramūnas Danisevičius' black-and-white photographs were on display in MRU's 2nd floor foyer. Danisevičius, the recipient of Lithuania's 2019 Government Cultural and Art Prize, is exhibiting about 40 photos of judges and Lithuania's courts in the exhibition titled, "The House of Justice."
The exhibition will be on display until April 15th, 2019 at the University.
The 45-year-old Danisevičius has been displaying his photographs in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad since 2001. From 2010 he is a photographer for Lithuania's largest daily newspaper, "Lietuvos Rytas."
The exhibition is one of various exhibitions that Danisevičius has taken part in throughout the years. His photographs have been displayed in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Russia and the U.S.
An avid bike rider, known for biking to opening of his exhibitions in the city, Danisevičius in 2004 organized his photography exhibit, "The Bike Remains, People Pass" in Vilnius.
