The film focuses on the 26-year-old writer, author Karl Marx who goes into exile. It shows his meeting in Paris in 1844 with another writer, Friedrich Engels, the son of a factory owner who exposes exploitation of the poor and disadvantaged. The film, as critics point out, has the main characters engaging in fiery discussions about labour, class inequality and politics.

Prof. Andrius Bielskis is the author of the book, "Existence, Meaning & Excellence - Aristotelian Reflections on the Meaning of Life," published in 2018 by Routledge.

Bielskis is a professor in MRU's Institute of Political Sciences.
