MRU Lecturer Laurinaitis: e-Shopping Sales Sluggish Due to Consumer Distrust

vilndiena April 9th, the daily "Vilniaus Diena," published commentary on e-shopping of food products by MRU Lecturer Marius Laurinaitis. In the full-page article Laurinaitis is quoted as saying that consumer distrust of supermarkets is keeping electronic sales of foodstuffs at a minimum. Food e-Shopping is one area where consumer distrust runs high. Consumers are afraid that supermarket chains will try to pass off old or dated foodstuffs via the internet. Laurinaitis is a lecturer in MRU's Dept. of Banking and Investments in the Faculty of Economics and Finance Management.
