MRU and London's Middlesex University Agree to Create 1st Joint Academic School

lvosrytas May 4th, the daily "Lietuvos Rytas" writes that MRU and London's Middlesex University will create the first joint academic school in Vilnius. Both sides signed an agreement on May 3rd.

The two universities will work in partnership to create a MU-MRU School of Social Technology and Business. Courses may start as early as January 2013.

MRU Rector Prof. Alvydas Pumputis said that in creating the opportunity to gain a world-class education here, students are assured those same conditions, which they are now seeking abroad.

The agreement was signed at Lithuania's Ministry of Education & Science.

The agreement provides for offering a wide-range of UK-degree courses including Bachelor's Degrees in: Banking and Finance, Business Management, Business and Marketing, International Business, Accounting and Finance.
