Meet Film Crew, See Film "Endless Corridor" - Feb. 21st

film Feb. 21st, 2019, 11:30-13:00, in MRU's I-414 aud., students and MRU community members are invited to come see the 2014 documentary film, "Endless Corridor." It is about the Khojaly massacre tragedy and deals with one of the terrible tragedies of modern-day Europe.

The film is directed by Aleksandras Brokas and Mindaugas Urbonavičius. It is narrated by the legendary British film actor Jeremy Irons.

Endless Corridor tracks Lithuanian journalist Richard Lapaitis, a war correspondent, on a trip to Azerbaijan 20 years ago.

International critics have praised the film and it has received the main prize of the American edition of the Accolade Global Film Competition, also called the Little Oscars.

The film has been awarded various prizes and awards including:

• Accolade Global Film Competition (USA, 2015): Best of Show Award
• Tenerife International Film Festival (Madrid- Spain, 2015): Best Documentary + Best Director for a Documentary
• Cape Town Film Festival (South Africa, 2015)
• Toronto International Film Festival (Canada, 2015)
