Law Prof. Žilinskas on Books, New TV Show & Where He Met His Wife

zilinskasprof2012 October 3rd, MRU Law Faculty Professor Justinas Žilinskas was interviewed by the popular weekly magazine, "Žmonės" (People).

He discusses his new TV Show which he moderates, "Klaidos kaina" ("The Price of Mistakes"), his wildly successful book, "KGB Vaikai" (The Children of the KGB) and raising a family and being a good father to his 3 children.

Prof. Žilinskas said that he wants that his three children - two sons and a daughter listen to him, but they don't always understand his wishes.

He met his wife on the Internet and after 4 years, they got married.

A prolific author, his latest book, "The Children of the KGB" was on the best-seller charts in Lithuania for months.

He didn't become a detective because his parents are university lecturers and his wife heads up the Vilnius University Sports Centre.

Žilinskas, a Mykolas Romeris University professor, said he won a competition to assume his post in the Faculty's Institute of International and European Union Law. His term runs out in 2 years. Then, I'll have to show that I'm fit to continue in this post, he said.

When he's not lecturing and writing books, Prof. Žilinskas also creates intellectual puzzle games such as "Vilnius detectives." It forces players to learn about the history of Vilnius and find out details to come out a winner.
