Law Faculty Prof. Narbekovas Recognized for Research & Awarded St. Christopher Statue

narbekovasprofgood Dec. 21st, the Lithuanian daily newspaper, "Lietuvos Rytas" reports that Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Law Faculty Prof. Andrius Narbekovas was the recipient of the Vilnius St. Christopher Statue (Šv. Kristoforo Statulėlė).

The 54-year-old Narbekovas, a former surgeon, was recognized for research, faith and securing life for the unborn.

About a dozen Vilnius citizens were singled out for awards on Thursday, Dec. 19th, in a ceremony at the Vilnius Town Hall, Rotušė.

Prof. Narbekovas is not only a Catholic priest, but also belongs to Lithuania's Bioethics Commitee.

He is a member of the MRU Law Faculty's Department of Philosophy of Law and Legal History.
