Law Faculty Prof. Juozas Žilys on Whether Citizens Can Appeal to Constitutional Court

xrilysjuozas Oct. 24th, MRU Law Faculty Prof. Juozas Žilys appeared on the "Žinių Radijas" radio programme's "Question of the Day" talk show. Prof. Žilys discussed whether ordinary citizens should be given the right to file lawsuits before the Constitutional Court. Currently only Seimas members, judges and in certain cases, the Government and the President, can appeal to the Constitutional Court on issues relating to the Constitution. Prof. Žilys is a Professor in the Law Faculty's Dept. of Constitutional Law.
