International Human Rights Summer Studies at Mykolas Romeris University July 19th-31st

summerskl2010 July 19th-31st, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) will host the 5th annual summer school, "International Human Rights Summer Studies." The school will bring together students from the U.S., as well as Belarus, Georgia, France and Lithuania. Participants will discuss and listen to lectures on Human Rights Protection issues, analyze practical situations and take part in moot court. Lecturers will come from various parts of the globe including France, Great Britain, Belarus, the U.S. and Lithuania. There will be visits to the Office of Equal Opportunities Ombudsman, the State Border Guard Service's Foreigners' Registration Center as well as the Vilnius Genocide Museum.

The school is organized by U.S.-based Elon University, (Elon, N.C.), MRU's Law Faculty, the European Humanities University, and two NGO's -"Bring Human Rights Home" (USA) and the "Human Rights Monitoring Institute."
