CRIM-TRACK Project Conclusions at MRU April 21st

April 21st, 2017, the concluding event of the "CRIM-TRACK: Sensor System for Detection of Criminal Chemical Substances" project was held at Mykolas Romeris University. The Project Head was Mogens Havsteen Jakobsen (DTU, Denmark) and Milan Laustsen (DTU, Denmark).

During the event, the CRIM-TRACK project sensory device was presented along with its possibilities determining illegal chemical substances.

For comparison, 3 other implemented projects, dealing with security, were also presented: SNOOPY - Sniffer for Concealed People Discovery, Giorgio Sberveglieri; C-BORD - Effective Container Inspection at Border Control Points, Lutz Kretschmann and Krishna Persaud; and ACXIS - Automated Comparison of X-ray Images for Cargo Scanning, Alexander Flisch.

The event concluded with remarks by European Commission DG Home Mr. Giulio-Maria Mancini who discussed, "An Invitation and Perspectives for a Safe Society."
