Assoc. Prof. Dumbliauskas Discusses Upcoming Presidential Election

dumbliauskas2014 Jan. 20th, 2014, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Assoc. Prof. Vytautas Dumbliauskas was interviewed by the online news website www.lrytas.lt about the upcoming presidential election and the odds of winning that candidate Vilnius Mayor Artūras Zuokas has.

"I think he (mayor Zuokas) has to increase his ratings. He has a lot of problems in the public sphere," Dumbliauskas told the reporter in the www.lrytas.lt article titled, "A. Zuokas Thinks He's Better Than President D. Grybauskaitė."

Dumbliauskas went on to say that due to Mayor Zuokas' charisma and attractiveness, he has a chance "to become more well-known in Lithuania" by announcing his candidancy.

The Assoc. Prof. said that Mayor Zuokas would appear much better in TV debates than other candidates such as former Finance Minister Zigmantas Balčytis, Bronislovas Ropė and others.

Dumbliauskas is an Assoc. Prof. in the MRU Faculty of Politics and Management's Institue of Political Sciences.
