MRU Grad/Dancer Saikauskaitė Says She's Been Dancing Since Age 6
August 24th, the Lithuanian daily, "Lietuvos Rytas," published a full page article on "City Dance" studio Head Sandra Saikauskaitė who is a graduate of Mykolas Romeris University. Saikauskaitė, who has been taking part in TV dance competitions and shows, discusses her love of dancing and of everything sweet.

Grad Student Ramanauskas Discussed Starting Up a Business on Radio Show
August 22nd, MRU graduate student Aistis Ramanauskas took part in a roundtable discussion on the "Žinių radijas" radio programme, "Atviras Pokalbis" (Frank Discussion). He discussed salaries and why many university graduates refused to work for a minimum wage and demand higher starting salaries. Ramanauskas, who has started up a business, discussed how and why he did it.

MRU Dorms Singled Out As Among the Best in Lithuania
August 19th, the online news website DELFI.lt reports in an article by Mindaugas Jackevičius titled, "Dorms, Waiting for Students: What to Expect - Best and Worst" that MRU's dorm, Didlaukio g. 86, is among the best in Lithuania. Kitchens with microwaves, fridges, new modern showers and washing machines on each floor are part of the amenities available at the MRU dorm.

Law Prof. Arlauskas on Constitutional Ct Ruling Dealing with Salaries
Aug. 12th, MRU Law Faculty Prof. Saulius Arlauskas published an article, continuing an online discussion, and commenting on a July 1st ruling of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania. The ruling set out the Constitutional doctrine of social justice and reducing the salaries of civil servants.

Law Faculty Professors Agree on Need for Constitution Day Holiday
August 3rd, the daily newspaper, "Respublika," published an interview with MRU Law Faculty professors including Prof. Juozas Žilys (see photo)  regarding the newly-published 1004-page Constitution book, which contains Lithuania's Constitution translated into 13 languages. All the professors agree that October 25th, the day when the Constitution was adopted, should be commemorated as a national holiday.
