Vision
To promote development of projects and cooperation with partners in Lithuania and abroad while implementing strategic aims of the University. 

Mission
To prepare and implement projects that are supported by European Union, international and national funds and to support successful development and integration of the University into international academic sphere.

Aim
Effective organization, administration and management of the projects, implemented by the University.


Objectives:
• To improve the system of preparation and administration of the projects at the University;
• To accumulate, organize and provide information on EU, international and national funds, programs, projects and funding opportunities to the Universities’ subdivisions;
• To analyze project activities at the University, organize data on prepared and implemented projects and their results;
• To inform and consult personnel of the University on project preparation and management, share experience in the field of project administration, organize seminars and trainings for the personnel, that prepares and implements projects;
• To ensure effective management of the programs and projects – initialization, preparation, primary expertize and evaluation of the application;
• To administrate received grants from EU, international and national funds and other institutions;
• Actively introduce innovations and good Lithuanian and international project management practices in the work of the University;
• To represent Universities’ interests regarding project management in Lithuania and abroad;
• To involve Universities’ community (lecturers, researchers, students and administration staff) into project’s activities.
• To collaborate with the person, responsible for public relations at the University, in order to ensure visibility of the project.

Activities:
• Gives proposals in order to improve project preparation and administration system at the University;
• Prepares proposals for improvement of the motivational system for lecturers, researchers and administrational staff who take part in the projects;
• Amasses information, relative to preparation of projects and provides Universities’ subdivisions with methodic information;
• Initiates preparation of applications and forming of the working groups for that matter;
• Takes an active part (helps to prepare the application, except the main idea) in the preparation of the projects’ applications;
• Cooperates with the institutions that are evaluating the applications during the whole evaluation period;
• Ensures that the grant agreements are signed on time;
• In the case of no extra funding for project administration, initiates forming of the working group for implementation of the project;
• Controls implementation of the grant agreement;
• Pursues other assigned functions.
