About us

Internationalization at Mykolas Romeris University is interconnected with Bologna process as well as tendencies of Higher Education development in Lithuania, Europe and countries of other continents. International Relations Office together with academic and administrative staff as well as students actively participates in the process of internationalization. For this purpose, International Relations Office participates in the establishment of bilateral cooperation agreements, mediates in the implementation of international exchange programmes, development of study programmes including joint study programmes and courses in foreign languages, participates in various cooperation projects and activities of international networks. 

International Relations Office carries out the following activities in order to promote internationalization at the University:

  • Assists the Faculties and other University units in the search for cooperation partners abroad;
  • Analyses and reports on international cooperation at the University;
  • Arranges visits of foreign guests and official delegations to the University;
  • Prepares projects of international cooperation agreements;
  • Organizes signing of international cooperation agreements with universities, international organzations and other institutions.
  • Carries out correspondence with international organizations and partners;
  • Provides information on international programmes, possibilities of internships and studies as well as scholarship funds;
  • Represents University in international gatherings and other events;
  • Looks for qualification improvement places and funding for University lecturers and other staff.
  • Prepares drafts of Rector’s decrees regarding business trips and internships of the academic and administrative staff.
