About faculty

The Faculty of Social Informatics is the newest, but a very rapidly expanding faculty at the second largest university in Lithuania. The Faculty was established in 2008 and is part of the continuing modernization strategy of Mykolas Romeris University. The academics of the Faculty are involved in scientific research and study programmes, providing knowledge on the interaction of society and new technologies - including ICT. Study programmes and subjects offered at the Faculty cover the application of new technologies in the area of social-economic sciences, business and the public sector. At the moment, there are more than 600 students in full-time and part-time faculty programmes. Undergraduate students total 254 and post-graduate 351 students. The Faculty of Social Informatics has Bachelor’s Degree programme in Informatics and Master’s Degree programmes in Management and Business Administration, Public administration as well as Law.
