Projects & Studies

  • In 2012 the Faculty of Politics and Management set up a committee for the assessment of academic integrity. The Centre team, being an integral part of this committee, performed a pilot study on academic integrity at the faculty level. The pilot study was based on the Academic Integrity Assessment Guide, developed by the International Centre for Academic Integrity, Clemson University (U.S.A.).

  • In 2016 the Centre researchers' team carried out a study on the university academic ethics 2015-2016. Study supervisor - lect. Inga Gaižauskaitė.

  • 1st of Sept 2016 the international development project „European Network for Academic Integrity" (ENAI) has been launched. The project is implemented for a 3-year period. There was 280,000 Eur financing allocated according to the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships programme. MRU is responsible for the project part dealing with academic integrity, self-evaluations for students, lecturers and researchers, departments and organizations as well as developing an academic integrity terms' dictionary. MRU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Loreta Tauginienė, an Academic Ethics Centre researcher and MRU Lifelong Learning Laboratory member, is in charge of the aforementioned research. Other Academic Ethics Centre lecturers include: Lect. Inga Gaižauskaitė, who is a member of the Sociological Laboratory and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jolanta Urbanovič, Head of the Lifelong Learning Laboratory.
