Introduction

Sociology is the study of society and culture. Using variety of theories and research methods, it helps analysing, understanding and interpreting social life. It becomes especially relevant in contemporary world where societies are marked with constant change (be it globalisation, economic crisis, political conflict, migration, or development of technology) and challenges to be solved.
Bachelor in Sociology provides you with essential training in social research methods (e.g. survey research, public opinion and market research, data analysis), theories and selected disciplines of contemporary sociology. You will study the themes that are most relevant for the understanding of societies, like inequalities, migration, politics, family, gender, labour market, deviance, organisational life, globalisation and social change, and a number of others.
