Why this study programme?

The aim of the Public Administration study programme is to develop competencies of leadership and critical analysis across a broad spectrum of management issues in contemporary public and non-profit organizations. Among others these include human resource management, public sector economics, administrative law and regulation, e-governance, public service provision. 

The programme focuses on providing leadership skills that would help teams in public and non-profit organization to create greater value for their clients and citizens.

Mykolas Romeris University Public Administration study programme is the broadest of such kind in Lithuania. We train more than half of all Public Administration Master’s in the country. Our academic staff is prominent in conducting specialized research in public administration, and students can get excellent piece of  advice on a broad range of topics of public and non-profit organization management.

Entry requirements

  • Graduates of university bachelor's studies in any study field can apply to this programme;
  • English language proficiency - the level not lower than B2 (following the Common Framework of Reference for Language approved by the Council of Europe). Distant English language level test is organized for those, who do not possess IELTS or TOEFL certificates.

International mobility possibilities

Students can participate in ERASMUS+ mobility programme which gives a possibility to study at a university abroad for 1 or 2 semesters and do internship in another country.

Career prospects

Graduates can take up jobs as team leaders, project managers, strategic planning an human resource officers throughout the EU – its member states’ public and non-profit organizations.
