Internationalization at Mykolas Romeris University is interconnected with Bologna process as well as tendencies of Higher Education development in Lithuania, Europe and countries of other continents. Directorate for International Studies and Relations together with academic and administrative staff, researchers and students actively participate in the international exchange programmes, development of study programmes including joint study programmes and courses in foreign languages, various cooperation projects and networks.
Directorate for International Studies and Relations carries out the following activities in order to coordinate and promote internationalization at the University:
- Assists the Faculties in the search for cooperation partners abroad.
- Analyses and reports on international cooperation at the University.
- Arranges visits of foreign guests and official delegations to the University.
- Manages partnership agreements.
- Carries out correspondence of the Rectorate with international organizations and partners.
- Provides information on international programmes, exchange and scholarship funds.
- Coordinates the submission of the applications and implementations of the projects under the Lifelong Learning Programme and other international programmes.
- Administrates the LLP/ERASMUS programme.
- Carries out marketing of the degree programmes in English.
- Represents University in international education fairs abroad.
- Prepares drafts of Rector’s decrees regarding business trips and internships of the academic staff, students and administrative staff.
