    Jan. 23rd, 2017, Japan's Kendo Master Yoshiyuki Haga arrived at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) to start teaching Japanese language. He will offer free Japanese classes from February on campus.

    June 6th, 2016, there was a Kendo Martial Arts presentation and demonstration held at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). Kendo is a modern Japanese martial arts descended from swordsmanship (kenjutsu) and uses bamboo swords and protective armour.

    March 9th, 2016 in the MRU Library's Reading Room, there was a  book presentation on Japanese culture including gardens and tea ceremoniesheld. The book, "Ryto rasos sodas," was written by Kęstutis Ptakauskas, a known Japanese garden creator.
