MRU Recognized for Strengthening Ties Between Korea & Lithuania

May 27th, 2016, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) was recognized for contribution to "the development of cooperation" between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Lithuania.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Ji-in Hong presented a Citation of Appreciation plaque to MRU Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius.

The plaque states that it is in recognition for invaluable contributions to the development of cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Lithuania on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.

KSI Vilnius organizes Korean Language courses for Beginners and Advanced students at MRU's campus.

In addition there are lectures offered on various economic and cultural topics dealing with Korea. Workshops, featuring traditional Korean calligraphy, Korean film screenings, Korean culinary food tasting events are also offered at MRU throughout the year.
