May 19-21st, 2017, three Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) athletes won gold medals at the SELL Student Games that were held in Riga.

Field-and-track champion Simas Bertašius won gold along with judo athlete Artūras Maiboroda and Jokūbas Stasiulis (triathlon).

Three other MRU student athletes won bronze medals. They include judo champion Laura Jurevičiūtė.

Overall Mykolas Romeris University placed 17th of the 65 European universities taking part in SELL Games with 6 medals.
