ERASMUS Students Taught Basic French & Songs at Kindergarten

Nov. 26th, 2017, two Erasmus students from France, Benjamin Boisard and Maxime Giorgi, taught French songs and basic French to Vilnius Strazdanėlės kindergarteners. This kindergarten has dedicated the current school year to French language and culture. The two students from France were accompanied by MRU Assoc. Prof. Sigita Rackevičienė. Aside from songs, the students played games with the kindergarteners and showed them photos of their native towns. The children shared their knowledge on France, the Eiffel Tower and kings. They even managed to teach the students a few words in Lithuanian. Law student Maxime Giorgi said he was surprised at "how quickly they managed to pick up new words and how easily they can get interested, when something catches their attention." "Kids are so eager to discover new stuff, and playful when it comes to learning. One can only be inspired by those very new individuals, full of potential and promises for the future," Maxime said.
