Jan. 23rd, 2017, 139 graduates of the MRU Business and Media School (BMS) were awarded diplomas during graduation ceremonies. Of the 139, there were 55 Master's Degree graduates and a total of 18 international students that graduated. Top students, with perfect grade point averages, were Alexander Bakumenko from Russia and Laima Romberga from Latvia. They were awarded "Leader's Diplomas" which are red in colour. MRU Vice-Rector for Education and Research Dr. Inga Žalėnienė awarded graduates diplomas. She was joined by MRU Dean Prof. Gintaras Aleknonis Dean Aleknonis congratulated graduates at the ceremony and wished them success. The MRU Pop Vocal performed at the graduation ceremony. The Vocal Group is led by Artūras Novikas. The packed ceremony was attended by relatives, parents and friends of the graduates who came with huge bouquets of flowers, including colourful tulips.
