Medical Facilities

First aid will be provided for you in each public clinic of Vilnius.
But probably not many people can speak English there, so it is better to go there with a translator.

We therefore recommend you to go to private clinics where you will get professional help and consultations in the English language.
Of course, you will have to pay, but your Insurance Company will refund you the money you have spent here after your return home.
All information about the first aid and private clinics is provided in the book "In case you need medical care" (you can get it in the Academic Affairs Centre, International Exchange Unit).

N.B. All international students must have valid health insurance during their stay in Lithuania.
Students who are citizens of any EU-member country must have European Union Insurance Card. All students from non-European Union countries can obtain their health insurance in their home countries (please, check if the insurance is valid in Lithuanian territory) or they can obtain it in Lithuania.
